VIRGINIA FLUTIST MARIAM d'EUSTACHIO

Mariam d'Eustachio received her Bachelor of Music in flute performance cum laude from the Benjamin T. Rome School of Music at the Catholic University of America.  She studied with retired National Symphony flutist Basil Kyriakou and Dr. Mary Beth Lewandowski.  Ms. d'Eustachio attended The Pierre Monteux School for Conductors and Orchestra Musicians where she studied with famed flutist Claude Monteux.  She has played in master classes for Michèl Debost and Jeanne Baxtresser.  Ms. d'Eustachio has performed with The Virginia Symphony and The Tidewater Winds.  From 1997 to 2000, she was the flute instructor for the D.C. Youth Orchestra and taught flute at the Hosford School of Music.
